Who We Are |

Friends of Atwater Elementary is an established 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on supporting the educational enrichment of Atwater Avenue Elementary School in Atwater Village, California.
Our board currently consists of our co-founders Dana Schwartz and Lara Pranger, both working moms of Atwater Avenue Elementary Kindergartners. We met with many of the same goals in mind for our school, our children and community and a similar background, including the urging of mothers, who are former teachers, to make a difference.
Friends of Atwater is a growing group of dedicated parents of current and future students, our school principal, and community members. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the school. Please Contact Us with questions and for more information.
We are funded by donations received through our fundraising activities, by our sponsors (hyperlink to sponsors page) and by other generous people and organizations who want to help us make a difference for our children and public education.
